Dalian Acacia Flower Festival

 

Dalian enjoys a reputation as “Acacia City of the Orient”. Held annually at the last third part of May, Dalian Acacia Flower Festival is a large-scale international tourist activity, with appreciation of acacia flowers as its theme and a display of the Chinese Culture as its main content. During the Acacia Flower Festival, Prince of Acacia Flower and Princess of Acacia Flower will be chosen through public appraisal, and various recreational activities will be held, such as international wedding ceremonies, 1000-people calligraphy communication, kite-flying performance of ten thousand people, acacia flower appreciation and visiting the parks.
